As a teacher, it may be difficult to use technology, especially with all of the malfunctions and problems that can arise. However, teachers should use Google Classroom because it’s easily accessible. It keeps materials organized and in one place, and it’s very easy to use.
Most students have a Chromebook. This helps Google Classroom because all of their apps are in one place on one OS with no other stuff cramming up their personal computer. Both the Chromebook and Classroom work seamlessly to integrate all of the Google Apps for Education (GAF). If you wanted a student to make a slideshow on the 1920s and if you created a assignment in Google Classroom, your students could easily either upload one they have made separately in Google Slides or create one right in the Classroom assignment area.
In terms of the teacher, Google Classroom allows them to see how many students are completed with an assignment and they can check in on the project to see how the student is coming. You can see when things were last revised as well as utilize other GAF features. You can grade there too, if you want. This would help limit copies and papers to take home and worry about losing.
Teachers should also use Google Classroom because technology is the future. Whether people like it or not, technology is taking over the planet. It is getting faster and better than ever. People are starting to type 10x faster than they're writing.
Google Classroom is a great way for teachers to eliminate the use of paper in their classrooms. Teachers can upload notes, as well as extra materials to reinforce what was taught in class.
Classroom allows teachers to send a copy of the notes to each student, allowing them to edit their notes in whichever way they want.
The Classroom page can be organized by topic, making it more organized and easier to find all of the lessons for a specific topic. Classroom is an app that is easy to learn and can be used universally with almost every subject. Teachers should use Classroom if they are looking for a faster and easier way to communicate with their students and facilitate their teaching process.
Students like Google Classroom because of its easy access and reliability. With Classroom, all of their work is in one spot and it is saved automatically. For students who tend to be more disorganized, Classroom allows those students to save their work, and provides almost no way for their work to be lost.
Personally, I believe Classroom is a great way to share class notes, lectures, homework, or lessons because it stores an entire class on one page with their due dates, which makes it easier for me to stay up to date with all of my assignments.
