Reviewer: Vanessa (Grade 9)
Setting (Place): Corinna’s house
Antagonist(s): Kids at her school.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
While I reading this book i felt empathy for Corinna and it’s just a great book with a really good story.
This book is an emotional book but it’s definitely one you would want to pick up and keep reading during everyday task like dishes or even laundry. The way the author shows Corinna and her father's relationship after her mother died is very heartwarming, Even though it’s hard for the father to financially support Corinna his words are always with her. I related to this book when my uncle died and i feel as if even if you didn't have a passing in your family you could still understand Corinna’s struggles not growing up with her mom.
When you get the chance you should read this book.
