It was very suspenseful and kept me intrigued
A student named Dan is spending the summer at a before-college program at a college that he wants to go and hopes that it will help him find friends that he is similar to and can enjoy being around. After meeting a few friends, they decide to explore around their dorms after knowing that it used to be an insane asylum and find some things that are utterly disturbing and make dan soon have nightmares and hallucinations. When he is searching through his dorm he finds a picture that is very familiar to him because he saw it in the abandoned rooms. After he chooses a class to study as an extra credit assignment he chooses to do a report on the background of his school (Brookline). After that and going to coffee with his new friends. They decide to go back and do more exploring and one of his friends finds a file that reminds her of her grandmother and soons becomes obsessed with learning more while Dan is still very creeped out and distrubed. Then someone gets killed, another is hurt and then it becomes a criminal case and thinks that the famous serial killer is still there and alive. He is then invited to the basement where all of the torture and killings took place and things happen so he makes it out of there and is okay.
Younger people that like horror and suspense and maybe some adults too
