What would you rate this book: 4 out of 5 Stars
This book always had me intrigued, and because of the thrilling plot
Between the Lines is a fantastic and intriguing novel about love, mystery, and adventure. Delilah, the protagonist, falls in love with Prince Oliver the hero in her favorite fairytale book, Between the Lines. No one understands why Delilah is so obsessed with this children's book, but no one knows about her secret relationship with she has with fictional character, Prince Oliver. The characters “clever dialogue” makes them seems extremely realistic. Oliver explains to the reader that the characters are playing their part when the book is open but when the book is closed they live their own lives. When the book is open Prince Oliver is a courageous hero that saves “his fair maiden” Seraphima from distress, but when the book is closed he can not stand that conceded and obnoxious women. His true love is Delilah but how can he express this to her when she is in a different world.
“ Everyone deserves a happy ending…”
The type of audience that would enjoy this book is teenage to older women. People would like this book because of the excitement, adventure, and love. It is more of a love story so most guys may not be attracted to reading this book.
