Genre: Thriller, Psychological Horror
Setting (Place): Yosemite
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I liked the main plot, but there was so many different conflicts going on that it was very out-there, but it is a horror book. The main plot twist was surprising, and the element of romance didn’t seem forced. The end result, though questionable, was nice.
Short Summary: Ceo, Graham, Ellie, and Q take a camping trip to Yosemite park, intending to take a hike on the Creek Falls Trail, and then camping there. Their camping supplies are from craigslist, and there’s a snowstorm. Also one of their friends has an axe. Despite the snow, the four students decide to keep going on the trail. People are missing and injured, they’re freezing to death and don’t know if they’re going to make it out of Yosemite alive.
